Namco has taken on two new apprentices.

This will ensure that these young persons will have the ability to produce high quality tooling.

A further trainee grinder, is now working on the thread grinding section, and is making excellent progress.

Two more apprentice engineers are planned to start soon and will receive a thorough basic training during this first year.

Axial Thread Rolling Products

Namco Tooling supplies various types of attachments and rolls to suit a wide range of axial thread rolling applications.

Axial thread rolling heads have an established reputation for reducing thread cycle times and increasing productivity on a wide range of conventional and CNC controlled machines. The nature of thread-rolling, being up to four times faster than traditional cutting methods, requires the machine tool to be able to run at much higher speeds.

Rolling M6 x 1, 30mm length of thread at 35m / minute will require 2,300 rpm and take under 1 second.

In order to select the correct head for your application, please select your thread type from the table below and then click on the link for the head type. This will guide you to a choice of one or more heads. If more than one head size is suggested, choose the one that covers the range of threads you are most likely to roll.

Finally, having selected your preferred head, check the dimensions to make sure it will clear on your machine.
